Cyber Security Challenge.jpg

Our mission is to ensure a thriving and inclusive pipeline of talent into the cyber security industry. Established in March 2010, we have developed a series of national competitions, learning programmes and networking initiatives designed to inspire and enable more people from diverse backgrounds to become cyber security professionals.

We identify fresh talent with the skills and diverse backgrounds the cyber security industry needs and demands. We specialise in highlighting the many lucrative and rewarding opportunities for those who have not yet considered pathways into cyber security.

Our immersive schools programmes, online games and careers fairs provide entry points for students into other UK wide educational programmes such as Cyber First, Cyber Discovery and the CyberCenturion competition. We target students early on in their education, particularly in areas of socio-economic deprivation. But we also highlight entry-level jobs, apprenticeships and further education opportunities, and encourage networking and cyber training right up to university level.

Cyber Scheme.jpg

The Cyber Scheme is a not-for-profit organisation and is run by an Independent Board of Directors drawn from a range of backgrounds but with significant experience in Business and the Cyber Security industry. The Cyber Scheme was set up with the approval of GCHQ/NCSC as the National Authorities on Cyber Security.

Our vision is to provide a high quality platform for certification in a range of critical skills areas to support the UK’s National Cyber Security needs, digital resilience and the economic wellbeing across the full spectrum of UK business, academia and the public sector. It is important that all of these sectors have access to suitably qualified staff in order to meet the challenges they face in the Digital world we live in today.

Working in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Industry partners and WMG at Warwick University, the aim of the Cyber Scheme is to provide a high quality and robust training and examination process to meet those needs.

The Cyber Trust.jpg

The Trust was founded in March 2017 as the opportunities and dangers of the digital revolution were becoming increasingly apparent. The vision of the Founders was to help children and vulnerable people access the digital world safely and securely and at the same time enjoy the benefits of the technology.

Initially our work focused on Gloucestershire with the support of the Police and Crime Commissioner, the Chief Constable and local schools and colleges. The style of the work comprised face-to-face interactive sessions with young people. Independent assessment indicated that the work was engaging and achieving its objectives.

After the launch the demands for support grew significantly and this has led the Trustees to pursue a different strategy but with the same objectives.

Working collaboratively, we decided to create and launch a new internet safety app known as “SpeakOut!” for Android and iPhone/iPad to be used in schools and more widely from 2021 onwards. This has been designed initially though not exclusively to meet the needs of young people from the ages of 10 to 14, a period of transition for many, with an initial focus on how to recognise and respond to Bullying, quickly supplemented by another storyline on Online Grooming.
